Excellent Stability
Tolerant to high concentrations of electrolytes (such as salts), wide pH range (2-12) and systems with ethanol content ≤20%.
The emulsion is fine and bright, and is not easy to separate during long-term storage.

Flexibility In Compounding
Compounding with BRIJ™ 721 in a ratio of 5:1~10:1 can simplify the production process and accurately control the viscosity of the emulsion.

Anhydrous Essential Oil Formula


Oil phase preparation:

Heat BRIJ S2 and oil to 70℃ to melt

Stirring speed: 300-500rpm


Basic formula:

BRIJ S2 PA-SG 5%

Squalane 85%

Vitamin E 1%


Key process:

Must be completely melted and then cooled (otherwise, crystallization will be uneven)

Add active ingredients when the temperature drops to 45℃

    Check HLB matching: When the oil phase HLB＞10, BRIJ™ 721 needs to be compounded; ensure that the homogenization time is ≥5 minutes4.
  • Does the paste become coarse after low-temperature storage?

    The emulsification temperature needs to be ≥70°C, and the cooling rate should be ≤1°C/minute5.
  • Is it compatible with cationic surfactants?
