Operation Guide

Cosmetic applications:

Neutralization of carbomer:

Addition amount = carbomer amount × 0.4 (0.35g TEA/g carbomer is required to neutralize to pH 6.5)

It is recommended to pre-dilute to 10-20% aqueous solution for use

Emulsion preparation:

O/W system: 0.5-2% of the total oil phase

Need to be added to the water phase at 60-70℃

Industrial field:

Metalworking fluid: maintain pH 8.5-9.5 (add 1-3%)

Polyurethane foaming: compound with amine catalyst 1:2

Q1: What is the difference from AMP-95?

Neutralization efficiency: TEA requires 30% more dosage but costs 50% less
Transparency: AMP is more transparent at high pH
Q2: Will it trigger nitrosamines?

Avoid using with nitrite (it is recommended to add 0.1% ascorbic acid to inhibit)
Q3: What is the ratio of ammonia water replacement?

Molar ratio 1:1.2 (20% increment is required due to molecular weight difference)
